Young Farmers Development Organization - (YoFDO)

Our primary focus is to design training programs to help young agripreneurs succeed in farming by enhancing their knowledge and skills in agriculture and entrepreneurship.

Our Objectives

To engage, equip and empower young farmers to develop further or higher education, vocation training, employment and entrepreneurship to achieve their full potential for themselves, their communities and society as a whole.

Our Aim

Our aim is to provide comprehensive support and resources to young farmers in this thriving industry, enabling them to achieve their fullest potential.

OUR VISION

We envision a country where young people who are willing to work, get trained and take a little risk can support themselves and their families through farming.

What Drives Us?

Within the developing agenda of Ghana,

agriculture is identified as one of the economic pillars. The nexus/connection between agriculture development and Ghana’s ability to achieve its food and nutrition security goals are inextricably linked

What we believe

We believe modern agriculture

is more than just tilling the land or rearing of animals. The sector today offers career opportunities in research, environment, financial management, engineering and other technical areas for the youth to explore
